Critical favorite “The Artist” was the big winner at the 69th annual Golden Globes, picking up three awards, including the Golden Globe for best motion picture, musical or comedy.
George Clooney’s “The Descendants” won the award for best dramatic motion picture, and also earned Clooney the best actor in a dramatic motion picture honor.
Meryl Streep, meanwhile, picked up the Golden Globe for best actress in a dramatic motion picture for her work in “The Iron Lady.”
