At Comic-Con on Thursday, George R.R. Martin moderated a lively panel for Game of Thrones that included stars Nicolaj Coster-Waldau, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Jason Momoa, Emilia Clarke and the Emmy-nominated Peter Dinklage, along with producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

Kim Kardashian has launched a legal battle against the bosses of a popular clothing chain for using a look-a-like in their latest advertising campaign.

The reality TV star was not impressed when she saw the TV commercial for Old Navy, which featured brunette model Melissa Molinaro, who bears a striking similarity to Kardashian and was also named ‘Kim’ in the ad.

Her attorney, Gary Hecker, filed suit against the fashion firm on Wednesday, accusing the retailer of the “unauthorized use of Kardashian’s name, likeness, identity and persona”.

The star, who has her own clothing deal with rival store Sears, is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

It has long been thought that sticking to a ‘five-a-day’ veg and fruit regime is good for general health, but now evidence has emerged that vegetarians with a high intake of fibre are considerably less likely to suffer from common bowel disorder. The condition, also known as diverticular disease, occurs when pouches form in the colon. In severe cases, these can lead to blockages in the colon and, occasionally, death.

However, now a report in the British Medical Journal says that individuals with a high fibre content in their diet, such as vegetarians, can significantly lower their chances of developing common bowel disorder.

Dr Francesca Crowe headed up a team from the Cancer Epidemiology Unit at the University of Oxford on a long-term study of 47,033 individuals of which 15,459 were vegetarians.
