Sofía Vergara shares her sexy summer fashion secrets in new O Magazine

Men who love miniskirts and actress Sofía Vergara are going to be disappointed this summer, because one of her favorite looks are long dresses that cover up (almost) everything.

“I love maxidresses,” the “Modern Family” star declares in the new issue of O, The Oprah Magazine. “They’re so comfortable. You look well put-together, it’s easy, you don’t have to be hot, and you get to look sexy.”

Covered up or not, the Colombian beauty who shot to fame at 17 after starring in a sexy, bikini-clad Pepsi commercial, wants to be surrounded by ocean. “A yacht in the Mediterranean, near Capri or Sardinia,” says Vergara of her dream summer getaway.

The Colombian beauty counts another buxom brunette bombshell as her fashion inspiration: “I admire Sophia Loren, she always looks so sexy.”

Even though Vergara has the looks of a trouble-causing vixen, she says there’s no drama on the set of “Modern Family.” “We’re all friends, we all get along, we have great chemistry, and we are always having a great time,” she shared. “We also have great writers; they know us inside and out.”

And getting tapped for television’s top award validated Vergara’s long-held suspicion that she has a good sense of humor: “I always felt like I was funny—my whole family is—but I never thought I could get nominated for an Emmy!”
