Charlie Sheen to get roasted by Comedy Central same night of ‘Two And a Half Men’ premiere

You won’t be able to see Charlie Sheen on the season premiere of “Two and a Half Men” on September 19, but you will be able to see the self-described warlock the same night on the “Roast of Charlie Sheen” on Comedy Central.

“You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this Roast for a while,” said Sheen. “It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic.”

Past targets of Comedy Central’s roasts include Donald Trump, Pamela Anderson and William Shatner.

The Roast will be taped in Los Angeles on September 10, and Sheen will welcome all comers. “Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast … which scares even us,” a nervous Kent Alterman, Comedy Central’s head of original programming and production, explained.

The list of who, exactly, will be raking the “winning” actor over the coals has not yet materialized, but it’s a safe bet that Sheen’s nemesis, “Two and a Half Men” producer Chuck Lorre, will not be in attendance.

Don’t expect his new “Men” replacement Ashton Kutcher, either.
