Randy “Macho Man” Savage died of heart disease, according to an autopsy report released Thursday.
Randy “Macho Man” Savage dies at 58
The 58-year-old professional wrestler, who crashed his car into a tree last month in Florida, had an enlarged heart with severe blocking of his coronary arteries. Since he only suffered minor injuries in the crash, a Tampa Bay medical examiner ruled they were not significant enough to have caused his death.
Savage’s brother, Lanny Poffo, had previously suspected that Savage suffered a heart attack behind the wheel.
