Top trend pick for this week’s “Wardrobe” is denim. It’s a classic, and whether or not you take a bold step to wear it in some form other than just jeans, it is a tried and true solution to a lot of fashion problems.

Finding the right fitting pair of denim jeans is imperative. An ill-fitting pair can just ruin the rest of a good look, no matter what amazing shirt, jewelry or shoes you plan to wear with them.
So what’s the jean style for you? How do you find that perfect pair for your figure?
Women’s Health magazine gives a great set of tips for getting a great denim jean fit.
Denim often gets a bad wrap, and the idea of wearing it in ways other than pants might bring up the horrors of the past—like the entire last part of the ’80s.
But with a little subtlety you can steer clear of turning into a Wild West caricature or Debbi Gibson wanna-be.
Try a denim bag or pair of strappy, chunky heels to accessorize a spring look. Denim jackets always rock, with tees or even dressier attire AND you can wear one with jeans without looking like “Heavy Metal Parking Lot.” Just make sure you leave off the mullet and the cut-off t-shirt.
Plainly put, denim is go-to comfort wear. It never really goes out of style. But one no-no—please throw the “mom” jeans away.
