As you may have heard, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is making an animated comeback thanks to Nickelodeon. Thanks to Toy Ark, we have our first real look at the characters and art from the show.
The series is set to debut on Nickelodeon this year. I’m a huge fan of the TMNT crew. I grew up watching the original cartoon, and reading the comics, and I hope the series turns out to be good.
Here’s the synopsis:
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a fictional team of four human/turtle hybrids, who were trained by their human/rat hybrid sensei in the art of ninjutsu and named after four Renaissance artists. F

Baldwin was recognised for his role in 30 Rock
Kate Winslet was named best actress for playing the title role in Mildred Pierce, having won the same award at the Golden Globes earlier this month.
The cast of Martin Scorsese’s Boardwalk Empire picked up the TV drama ensemble prize, while its star Steve Buscemi was named best male actor in a drama series.
Jessica Lange was named best actress in a drama series for her role in American Horror Story.
Alec Baldwin won best actor in a comedy series for 30 Rock, while Betty White picked up the best comedy actress prize for Hot in Cleveland.
“I think they made a terrible mistake,” White joked, adding that the prize belonged to all four female leads in the series.
Modern Family won the comedy ensemble prize, while the best stunt award went to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
The ceremony also saw Dick Van Dyke present a lifetime achievement award to Mary Tyler Moore, best known for her self-titled sitcom in the 1970s.

Seal and Heidi Klum are just aboslutely intent on breaking our hopeful, open, but honestly-sorta-dead hearts. Late last night Heidi and her mom Erna tried to hide behind the front seat of their chauffeured Mercedes van in Los Angeles. We snapped the first photos of Heidi since she and Seal announced their separation.
Meanwhile he was seen coming out of Encopass Digital Media Studio earlier in the afternoon – still wearing his wedding ring. Which makes sense, given the reports that he doesn’t want to end the marriage.
So what really went wrong between the two? Sou

Ryan Gosling could have won two Golden Globes on Sunday (Jan. 15) night. He didn’t but he could have.
But despite being nominated for both lead actor in a comedy/musical (“Crazy Stupid Love”) and lead actor drama (“The Ideas of March”) Hollywood’s current it boy was not in attendance.
“Ides of March” writer Beau Willimon pointed out that Gosling “does his own thing” on the red carpet but it doesn’t appear Gosling was absent in an attempt to make fans’ hearts grown fonder.
Rather the official word is that he’s currently in Bangkok working on “Only God Forgives,” a mixed martial arts movie from “Drive” director Nicolas Winding Refn.
There’s always the Oscars. Full Article…

Amaro (left) has been compared to Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey
The first winner of the US version of The X Factor has been named as Melanie Amaro from Sunrise, Florida.
The 19-year-old won a $5m (£3.2m) contract with Cowell’s record label SyCo and a role in a TV commercial.
“I want to say ‘America, thank you for giving this girl an opportunity’,” said Cowell after Amaro was named the winner ahead of runner-up Josh Krajcik, 30.
Justin Bieber, Stevie Wonder and 50 Cent were among the stars who appeared on Thursday’s season finale.
Amaro had been tipped by the show’s four judges to win after her rendition of the Beyonce hit Listen on Wednesday’s X Factor show.
Her triumph was all the more notable given she was originally eliminated from the contest during the judges’ houses stage of auditions, only to be subsequently reinstated.
More than 100,000 people auditioned for a chance to compete in The X Factor, launched in a blaze of hype earlier this year following its success in the UK.
US network Fox has given the programme a second season, despite it failing to attract the audience Cowell intially predicted.
When The X Factor USA launched in September Cowell said it would be more successful than American Idol, another talent show on which he appeared.
But the new show has drawn an average of 12 million viewers – less than half the number that watch its popular Fox stablemate.
